Windows Product Key.vbs is a Visual Basic Script file which will check your System Registry and retrieve the product (CD) key that was used when you installed Windows 95/98/98SE/ME. This is the 25 digit key with the format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Note: This file requires that you are able to boot into Windows before you can use the file.

To use: Download Windows Product Key.vbs and save it to your hard drive. Double-click the Windows Product Key.vbs file and the CD Key you used to setup Windows will be displayed.

If run under Windows 2000/XP, the script will generate an error. This script can be viewed in Notepad or any text editor, as to the specific Registry key and value that are checked.
