How To Create
Your Own Icons

Want to create your own icons using a Windows bitmap? To do this:

     1. Open Windows Explorer.
     2. Choose the View menu (Tools in Win ME).
     3. Choose Folder Options.

     4. Choose the View tab.
     5. Remove the check in the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.

     6. Choose OK.
     7. Choose a bitmap (.bmp) file that you want to use.
     8. Right mouse click on the file and choose Rename.

     9. Rename the file extension from .bmp to .ico.
