Turn Off Animated Character

Turn Off The Animated
Character In The
Windows Search Engine

To turn off the animated screen character in Search Companion:
     1. Choose Start / Search / For Files or Folders.
     2. In the Search Companion dialog box, choose Change Preferences.

     3. In the How do you want to use Search Companion box, choose without an animated
         screen character.

The screen character is no longer displayed in Search Companion.

NOTE: You can also right-click the screen character, and then choose turn off the animated
             character in the You rang box.
